are your criteria for selecting an organization to work with?
We
are looking for the following:

A clearly defined goal for the video
2.
A strong sense of your intended audience

A topic that lends itself well to video (video is better at conveying
emotion and influencing people than it is at conveying large amounts
of raw data)
4.
A worthy cause
5.
Well planned distribution for the final video
6.
An organization whose work directly impacts New Hampshire

What
will Heartwood Media do for us if we are chosen?
We
will work with you to determine the best way to meet your goals
and speak to your audience.
Heartwood
Media will write a creative treatment, write the script, and then
shoot your video. We will then edit the video, and add graphics,
music and special effects. You
will be involved throughout the entire process, providing feedback
during each stage of production.
The
message will be yours. We will help you convey it in the most
compelling way possible.

How
long should my finished application be?
As
a general rule, please try to keep your finished application around
two to three type-written pages.
Think
of the first stage of your application as an opportunity to give
the most concise and compelling pitch for the video project and
your organization.

Will
I have the chance to submit supporting materials?
Yes,
but not now. Please do NOT send any additional materials at this
time. First round finalists will be notified and asked to submit
additional materials.

What
is an "elevator pitch"?
Imagine
you're in an elevator and standing next to someone who can provide
significant support for your organization or cause. They're
getting off on the 10th floor, so you have about 30 seconds
to convince them to support you. What would you tell them?
